On Saturday, May 13th 2006, PIANOS becomes the holy accordion center of Manhattan.

. . .

11:00 The MAIN SQUEEZE ORCHESTRA is New York's only all-female, 15 piece accordion orchestra led by local accordion guru, Walter Kuhr. The only orchestra of its kind, their repertoire includes everything from Bach to Queen to Joy Division.

10:00 CORN MO is a cult-accordion phenomenon and an accordion pioneer, playing everything from 70's classic rock, 80's hair metal and his semi-autobiographical originals. His prowess and personality has had him sought by They Might Be Giants, David Bowie and his adoring minions throughout the nation.

9:00 HANG THE LIGHTS is the solo songwriting project of Joshua Camp, co-founder of the circus rock band One Ring Zero. His interest in free reed instruments began and developed during his seven years as an accordion and harmonica technician at Hohner, Inc. Camp has played accordion in various genres, including: country, rock, folk, Irish, klezmer, meringue, and experimental groups. Recently, Joshua played in the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof.

8:15 The INFINITE ORCHESTRA -- like everything you've heard before but like nothing you've heard before.

7:30 JONATHAN VINCENT, "frighteningly talented," (WeeklyDig) will be presenting sonic rarities improvised on his damaged accordion. He has recorded with a diverse array of musicians including eclectic folk/country singer Eileen Rose to Cabaret Queen Leah Callahan and microtonalists Joseph Maneri, Jeff Arnal, John Dierker, Tatsuya Nakatani, John Hughes, Katt Hernandez, Masashi Harada, and Adam James Wilson.
